My art journey began in Russia with a mermaid sketch at age six — the moment that sparked a lifelong love of art (and Disney).

From early art schools in Moscow to studying Illustration and Design at California College of the Arts in San Francisco, I followed that passion with everything I had.

After graduating, I landed a dream role at Disney, where I deepened my creative voice and launched Seen & Felt by Adelya.

Later, while working in tech, I craved more alignment between what I did and who I was — so I returned to what I love most: creating meaningful, emotionally resonant art.

Today, I make art full-time — from live painting at weddings and events to custom heirlooms that honor your home, memories, and milestones.

My work lives in homes around the world — as a reminder of the moments and places that made you feel most alive.

While working at Disney — my dream job at the time — I fell in love with the cozy, nostalgic charm of the Victorian era.

To bottle that feeling, I began painting watercolors in the Disney parks and crafting whimsical felt pieces, like this glowing Peony lamp. In my mind, I was capturing the magic to keep.

That blend of what’s seen and what’s felt became my guiding thread — and the name stuck.

I’ve been creating heartfelt, memory-soaked art ever since — and it still feels like magic. ✨

How I started Seen & Felt

Principle one

Before anything else comes genuine care for the people I’m creating for. I paint to honor their experiences — not just to render likenesses.

Watercolor doesn't like control. I let the paint do what it wants — to run, to bloom, to surprise me. That’s where the magic happens.

I believe in showing up with joy, calm, and clarity. The energy I bring becomes part of the piece — woven into every brushstroke.

While I’m selective about what I take on, when I say yes, I’m all in. Every detail gets my full care and attention.
